James Joseph Lukezic

James is a graduate of Cornell University starting his career at Merrill Lynch & Co. participating in it’s Junior Executive Training Program. James was selected to join as an analyst in the Offshore Funds and Private investor Sales Division. As part of the international private client group (IPCG) James was responsible for developing new business and maintaining existing business with high end clientele; corporate, government, and individual high net worth. James had the opportunity to develop and hone his skills as a marketer and relationship manager, with responsibilities for clientele in New York and Miami, and later maintaining and developing new business with clients in Buenos Aires (Merrill’s largest foreign broker office at the time), and Santiago Chile. James also later worked for Citigroup Global Markets, and Bank of New York as a Relationship Manager in similar capacities. During this time James spent two years, participating part-time, as a Visiting lecturer at Princeton University in the Department of Politics.
In the spring of 2004, Mr. Lukezic founded Walker Hall USA – a US boutique wine importing company based out of Princeton, New Jersey – a company that sells and distributes imported wine in eight US states. Walker Hall USA imported and distributed many successful foreign brands in Manhattan and throughout the US with the help of 3rd party distributors. In 2005, James inherited Lukezic Group ltd – the Lukezic Family agribusiness. Lukezic Group ltd (DBA Walker Hall Winery) is a winery business in Canada’s Niagara Peninsula. Walker Hall Estate Winery focuses on producing and marketing ultra-premium wine to wine enthusiasts in the Greater Toronto Area and abroad. Most recently James completed his Executive Education in Marketing at the Harvard Business School in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
James is also an avid sportsman; a varsity letter winner during his collegiate years at Cornell, James enjoys archery, target shooting, and saber fencing – holding membership at New York City’s prestigious Fencers Club. Mr. Lukezic is also a member of the Ontario chapter of the Sierra Club; participating with a serious commitment to the preservation of the Niagara Escarpment – a world’s protected biosphere. In his free time he enjoys spending time volunteering for special need organizations and training his Dalmatian show dog - Basil.
